Generally store credit cards are not issued to those with bad credit. You do not need excellent credit either. But you must have at least good credit. A good credit score can range between 700† and 749†. The good thing is that Target offers their REDcard Debit option which draws the money straight from your bank account. Even though the card is issued by TD Bank, you do not need to have a checking account with them. The REDcard debit version offers the same 5% discount as the credit card. Of course for the debit option there is no credit check required. If you have less than good credit there are other options that will afford you a credit line.
