The Shop Your Way rewards program made it easier this summer for members to rack up rewards by bringing a wide range of retailers, restaurants and service providers into their network.
Shoppers can still earn rewards when they make purchases at Sears and Kmart, but they can also earn points on other purchases whether shopping for back-to-school gear or buying lunch at Burger King.
To take advantage of the offer, consumers can sign up for free on the Shop Your Way website. Once signed up, members begin earning rewards at rate of ten points for every dollar spent whether shopping at the stores or online.
In the Shop Your Way program 1,000 points equals $1 that can be redeemed for merchandise at checkout. Members also get access to special sales and exclusive offers online. Points expire one year after they are earned.
Program Keeps Track of Your Spending
The program keeps track of their activity on the Visa card or cards registered at merchants and venues, including Applebees, Avis, Life Lock, Louisiana Kitchen, Picture People, Popeye’s, Public Storage and 1-800-Flowers. A complete list of partners can be found on their website.
According to Sears Holding, since the program began three months ago their partner merchants like Burger King have seen a 54% increase in new customers, as well as a 9 percent increase in return visits by Shop Your Way members.
Shop Your Way is free rewards program that is part of Sears Holdings, a company, which includes about 2,500 retail stores in the United States and Canada. The program was introduced in 2009 to provide members with personalized deals, as well as product reviews, contests and sweepstakes.
There is no fee to join the program or to link a Visa credit card. One can link up to three cards, though prepaid cards, gift cards and some other types of cards such as FSA and EBT cards are not eligible.
