Chase And Disney Launch The New Disney Premier Visa®

Several years ago, Chase began offering a Visa credit card cobranded with Disney that allowed cardholders to earn rewards known as Disney Dream Rewards Dollars that can be redeemed in Disney theme parks, cruise lines or online at Disney stores. This card has made it possible for dedicated Disneyphiles everywhere to earn perks that can be applied to their next Disney adventure.

"Since we first launched theDisney Rewards® VisaCard in 2003, our priority has been providing a rewards program our customers can really use - including a huge variety of rewards and easy, flexible redemption," said the Senior Vice President of Customer Relationship Management for The Walt Disney Company, Jennifer Cohen, according to The Wall Street Journal-s Market Watch.

Recently Chase and Disney announced an upgrade to the popular Disney Rewards Visa Card. The Disney Premier Visa® card that will allow users to earn rewards at a faster rate, apply them towards airfare for the first time ever and have the opportunity to take advantage of very special benefits that will be extended to cardmembers only.

"We developed Disney`s Premier Visa Card with one simple objective in mind - to deliver what Disney`s customers told us was most important in a rewards credit card - earning rewards faster," said the General Manager of Chase Card Services, Robert Belan as reported by Market Watch.

For all card expenditures made at gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants, the Disney Store, Disneyland® Resort, Walt Disney World® Resort and Disney Cruise Line®, cardholders will receive 2% Disney Dream Reward Dollars. For all other purchases, cardmembers earn 1%.

One major change with the Premier card is that Rewards Dollars will now be eligible for redemption on airline travel, in that cardholders who purchase a plane ticket using their Premier card can redeem their Rewards Dollars in the form of a credit on their monthly statement. This affords users the benefit of using their Rewards Dollars on any airline for any destination at any time without having to wrestle with block-out dates or other restrictions. Additionally, Rewards Dollars can be applied towards Disney Theme Park tickets, Disney hotel stays, cruises, merchandise and movie tickets.

As an extra fun bonus, cardmembers have eight exclusive double-sided card designs to choose from, featuring a few of the most beloved and popular Disney Characters including Tinker Bell and Sorcerer Mickey. TheDisney Premier Visa® carries an annual fee of $49.
