Chase Sapphire and Top Chef Team Up in NYC

Tickets went on sale yesterday for Bravo’s Top Chef Duels Premiere Tasting event in New York City on August 4. Tickets are available to the public, with special VIP tickets exclusively for Chase Sapphire cardholders.

Bravo’s Top Chef Duels debuts on television on August 16, but the Premiere Tasting event celebrates the show early in New York. Special guests Gail Simmons and Curtis Stone will be there to mingle with guests, and specialty cocktails will be served in addition to dishes made by the show’s contestants.

Proceeds from the event will go to City Harvest, a 30-year-old organization dedicated to providing New Yorkers in need with enough to eat. City Harvest collects leftover food from restaurants, grocery stores, cafeterias and farms and delivers it to community food programs throughout NYC.

General admission tickets are $100 per person and can be purchased through the City Harvest website using any major credit card – Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. VIP tickets are available exclusively through the Chase Sapphire Ultimate Rewards website and include early admittance, a special preview clip of the first episode of Top Chef Duels, and a chance to mingle with the show’s judges and contestants.

Chase Sapphire and Top Chef are frequent event partners

Chase Sapphire has partnered with Top Chef for several other exclusive cardholder experiences, such as “Top Chef: The Tour” and “Top Chef at Sea.” Chase Sapphire general manager Lisa Walker says, “We are excited to offer our cardmembers a taste of some culinary masterpieces as well as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to interact with judges and contestants from the show.”

Other Chase Sapphire-sponsored events surrounding Top Chef Duels will be an on-air feature with Top Chef D.C. champ Kevin Sbraga, and an interactive map showing restaurants around the United States owned by Top Chef Duels contestants.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred card gives cardholders two Ultimate Rewards points per dollar spent on diving and travel. It has no foreign exchange fees and caters to customers who seek high-value rewards in the travel, dining and hotel arenas.
