News: Citi Card Tracker Unveiled - Credit-Land.com

There is a new feature in town now that Citi, a Credit-Land.com advertising partner, credit cardholders in the U.S. can track where their replacement card is every step of the way as it travels to their mailbox. This new feature is available in the Citi Mobile App, whether the cardholder has an iPhone or an Android device. They will also be able to track their new card online as well.

Cardholders will be able to keep track of their new card if it expired or there has been an upgrade due to the new EMV chips being installed in cards to enhance security. If their card is stolen or lost and they are waiting for their new card here too they will be able to see where their card is and when it will arrive at their door. People can also actually activate their card while in the tracker.

This new feature is seen as a way to give cardholders more peace of mind. "As we redesign the banking experience to be increasingly in the palms of our cardmembers' hands, Citi is quickly creating simple, next-gen solutions for our customers' banking needs," says Alice Milligan, Chief Customer and Digital Experience Officer for Citi Global Cards and Consumer Services. "Having real-time insight into the status of their card delivery will provide our customers with more peace of mind and enable them to plan ahead."

Citi Quick Lock

The launch of the Citi Card Tracker comes on the heels of the roll out of Citi Quick Lock, another new function that lets people actually lock their Citi account right from their Citi Mobile app or when using the Citi Online Portal. All they need to do is tap or click the tab in the app or portal and their account is on lockdown.

With the Citi Quick Lock people can prevent unauthorized charges being made from their account when their card has gone missing either due to loss or theft. One they find their card they can unlock the account and its business as usual.
