Wallaby Financial App Tracks Credit Card Rewards

People looking for a way to maximize their credit card rewards have a new option – an iPhone app from Wallaby Financial that keeps track of multiple credit cards and alerts users to deals and redemption offers.

There are many different virtual wallet apps out there, including Google Wallet, Isis, and Lemon, but Wallaby’s new app is focused on helping customers get the most out of their credit card rewards, whether they are cash back cards, frequent flyer cards, hotel rewards cards, or points-based rewards cards.

The Wallaby app, which is free from the iTunes App Store, lets customers enter account information for all their credit cards and upload that data to a cloud-based system. Users select their preferred card, but the app displays all deals and discounts from every card registered. It recommends the best rewards at specific merchants. Users can also search to find local businesses offering credit card deals.

Juggling Rewards on Multiple Cards

The average American household carries at least four credit cards. Most people have more than one. Some cards offer 5% cash back in categories that change every quarter, and some cards offer double points at certain retailers.  It can be tricky to keep track of which card will deliver the best rewards.

“Our new iPhone app makes it easy for consumers to eliminate the confusion, and use their credit cards in the most advantageous way,” says Matthew Goldman, CEO of Wallaby Financial.

Wallaby app users pick their preferred reward type – cash, points, or miles – and the app will alert them to the best card to use to maximize their rewards for that transaction.
