The AT&T Access More card, recently launched by Citi and AT&T, is making cardholders an offer some may have a hard time refusing– a free smartphone. AT&T will reimburse them up to $650 for their new phone once they charge $2,000 on their new card in the first three months.
Along with a new phone, cardholders also earn three points for every dollar spent at AT&T and via online retail and travel sites. All other purchases earn one point per dollar. Cardholders get 10,000 anniversary bonus points if they charge $10,000 or more on their new card.
When cardholders sign up or when they are ready for a new phone, they can head to the website where they can review a variety of smartphones and choose the phone they want and pay for it.
Once they have spent $2,000 within the first three months, and have had AT&T wireless service for at least 15 days, they will get reimbursed for the cost of the phone up to $650.

Using those points and perks
Since the AT&T Access More Card is part of the Citi network, cardholders earn ThankYou points on their purchases, whether paying for travel, cell phone bills, entertainment, or anything else.
These points can then be redeemed for merchandise, gift cards, and travel including flights, hotel stays and car rentals.
The card also includes built-in perks, including Citi Wallet and complimentary FICO credit scores. They also get Damage & Theft Purchase Protection, Extended Warranty, and Citi Price Rewind.
Cardholders, like other AT&T customers, can also sign up for the Mobile Share Value plan, and get an additional $15 or $25 off on the monthly access charges for their smartphone, giving them more savings than when they choose the two-year agreement.
