Now you can snag a getaway at a bargain price due to a partnership between American Express and the U.S. Travel Association.

The Daily Getaways promotion will be running for the next five weeks, offering special deals from over 20 travel brands and rewards programs.  Discounted hotel rooms, tour packages, and rental cars will be included, as well as opportunities to buy points and miles at a discount.

The deals can be purchased with any credit card, but when using an American Express card you get an extra 10% off. The promotion will run from May 19 to June 20, with new deals being offered each week.

What’s on tap

The discounted lineup for the first week of the promotion include:

  • Monday: one night at a Super 8 Hotel for $84 – a value of $154

  • Tuesday: A one-week Hertz rental car for  $280 – a value of  $1,100

  • Wednesday: two nights at Cambria Suites for $165 – a value of  $270

  • Thursday: $25 off an Alamo Car Rental – a value of $50

  • Friday: 100,000 Hilton HHonors Points for $550 – valued at $1,000

First come first serve

Over the next five weeks different deals go on sale each day at 1:00 pm. The number of deals is limited so they are being sold on a first come first serve basis. If they do not sell out they will be up for grabs and posted on the available offers section of the website.

Hotel rooms and getaways do not have to be booked at the time of purchase. The promotion is available to anyone who is 18 years or older and a U.S. resident.

People can sign up for special email alerts to notify them when offers are available, or check in on Twitter for more information.

The U.S. Travel Association is a non-profit company founded to promote travel to and inside the U.S.
