Help... I don't get the due! What's the use of my credit card?
Have you ever wondered what attracts you so much in a credit card and makes you fill out credit card application? The recent research conducted by our experts reveals that it is the incredibly lavish rewards program that most best credit card offers can boast of today.
Credit card issuers are strained by the intense competition engrossing the Western credit market, so, fighting for more potential customers, best lenders are ready to meet the needs of most capricious clients...
The promising beginning - the sad ending. The results of the poll show that about 60% of credit cardholders are being cheated on as far as credit card rewards are concerned. You find yourself spending more and more with your points rewards credit card but you appear to end up with zero in the end. You try to put every little and meaningless item on your cash back credit card but your purse or bank account is not increasing. You are at a loss, as it seems unbelievable that such respectful and trustworthy credit card institutions as MasterCard, Visa and American Express can fail you.
One of the respondents in the poll, Jim Torrance, a prosperous businessman, stayed with his frequent flyer credit card in hope to collect enough points for a free ticket but he had trouble claiming for it. Doesn't he have the full right as the credit card company's client to exploit what is due to him as promised?
He is not alone in this mistreatment. More and more credit card consumers are being attracted by big creditors with cash back of 5%, points and lowest APRs but after a while of responsible, irreproachable credit card use, they are reaping no rewards or at best only part of what was promised.
Right now, with suchlike creditor's uncertain practices, those credit consumers who are looking for new credit card applications, either online or offline, find themselves in a different mood. The thing is Capital One issued a new credit card product which claims to be no less promising and advantageous as all their previous offers... But is it just another trap?
It would be a deplorable thing if their Platinum credit card offering 0% on balance transfers and purchases - a program lasting till May 1st 2008 - turns out a fake. It would be even two times as sad if you suddenly lose the priority of paying the Annual Percentage Rate of as low as 9.9% and that's exactly what Capital One offers.
Now, what would you say if the offer of 4% cash back on all purchases for the first 3 months melts as snow and there is nothing in your hand except disillusionment...
Faithful Capital One credit card holders have been opting for this very company credit card yet for another reason which is no less significant than rewards and rates. Staying with this creditor you could feel at peace each time pulling your plastic out of your purse or using its number for online purchases. The company is constantly updating its ID Theft Service which not only protects you in the process of paying but also helps you to recover after the fraud happens.
Well, that's what a best credit card offer should look like. But at the moment its respectability and reliability is being seriously questioned. Is Capital One willing and able to preserve the high quality of its service and will its customers feel secure using their credit card?
The answer is still to come with the next research planned. We'll wait and we'll see whether there is a truly honest credit card company on our giant credit card market...
