Ever experienced left behind cards at your ATM machines? This happens almost to anybody. Others are even tired of processing their lost cards at credit card companies which typically takes a long period of time before the replacement arrives at their mailbox. But there is a catch, your card may look and feel weird because of its new flat look. The usual credit card has embossed information on it, but in our case today, our replacement card looks more of a hotel keycard. It appears to be flat and no embossed characters engraved.

Since customer satisfaction is the at most priority among credit card companies and banks, they have invested to new technologies which allows them to print new debit cards in an instant. Customers and card holders will no longer suffer waiting for weeks before the replacement of their card is delivered. The new machines used in printing these cards took only a minute or two to print new ones. Either lost or demagnetized, just walk into the credit card customer centers or your bank and you will have your replacement in no time.

Ron Zanotti, a senior officer at a company providing instant card issuance, Dynamic Card Solutions says that even though the company can issue embossed credit or debit cards, there are things to consider. First, the machine needed for embossed cards is big; secondly, the plastic cards which will be used considering that there are lots of card style and embossed characters. But with the new sleek and flat card, it is much easier and convenient both to the card issuer and the customer. The flat sheet plastic cards used are much more adaptive to personalization, which is easier for other companies with images that need to be printed on the card. They just have to upload the pictures and imageries and quickly print onto the card.

If you are wondering how many of the branches offer replacements, there are about 5,000 available branches accepting instant issuance and the good news is, it is still counting. Most of the customers who have experienced the service of the banks who issue instant replacements are delighted. With customers being satisfied with the new operations, different banks are into the idea of keeping up with the pace of service they are offering to the card holders. They will continue to improve their service for the convenience and satisfaction those who need their service.
