As per a study done recently, by J.D. Power and Associates has shown that AmEx occupies the top slot since it has continuously been in the good books of its customers for the fourth year in a row. American Express has once again been voted as America`s most popular card with at least 8,500 cardholders being satisfied with the billing, terms and conditions, rewards programs etc., even as other card companies are vying for the top slot.

Surpassing the industry average of 714, AmEx has received 769 points on a 1000-point scale making it the leader amongst issuers for the fourth consecutive year in a row. HSBC scored the least and managed to gain 686 points.

Some reasons why AmEx has topped the list is the fact that the card holders are satisfied with the customer service, the benefits and rewards that AmEx offers in comparison with the other cards, and above all, the way AmEx markets its reward options so that the customer gets to choose between the options and the customers are better informed.
