American Express, just before the holiday season would peak, is introducing a new travel reward credit card. This card is called the Blue Sky Preferred Credit Card. This is the first card to provide travelers with an allowance of 100 dollars which will take care of fees such as Wi-Fi purchases, in-flight meals and entertainment and checked baggage on any of the airlines. This credit card offers two reward points for every dollar spent on hotel, dining costs and car rentals and one point on all other expenses. The card which has annual fees of 75 dollars is very good for travelers who can recoup the annual fees with the 100 dollars allowance available to them.

The Blue Sky Preferred Credit Card is a great addition to the group of credit cards from American Express that provide great value to customers who want superior value for traveling, the card also helps build business of other merchants with which the card has tie-ups. Consumers are getting a flexible card with rich rewards which include an airline allowance which will help them make savings on travel. In order to benefit from this exclusive benefit to card members, they have to book their flight using this credit card and also use it pay for the incidental fees eligible for the allowance like the baggage fees or Wi-Fi purchase. For the reimbursement, travelers have to get in touch with American Express with 60 days after the expenses were billed on the card.

Customers can redeem the points earned on this card for travel expenses including any hotel, airline, car rental or cruise. There are no restrictions on the travel or any blackout dates. Customers can start redeeming at 7500 points which translates into a 100 dollar statement credit. This reimbursement is 33% higher than any other credit card. Customers after purchasing the travel need to contact the company online and there isn't any need for points to be transferred to the frequent flier programs.

Another benefit with this credit card is that if the customer is not traveling, the points can be redeemed in the form of cash back as well as a gift card. There isn't any cap or date of expiration and the rewards can be earned by the customers as long as the account is in good shape and the request for redemption comes within 60 days of when the expenses were first billed on the card.
