American Savings Bank and First Bankcard have introduced the Maximum Rewards Visa Card designed especially for Hawaii residents who are looking to give their home a makeover. The card offers triple rewards on all home improvement goods.
According to a study by National Association of Home Builders, Hawaiian homeowners are expected to spend an estimated $529 million on home improvements this year. With this card when they can get triple rewards on home furnishings and good at home supply stores. All other purchases earn one point per dollar.
People can apply for the Maximum Rewards Visa Card here. There are no limits to how many points they can earn during the year. Points expire five years from the date they are earned.
Reward points can be redeemed with the Maximum Rewards program for travel, gift cards, merchandise, a statement credit, or even used to make a donation to charity. Travel can be booked directly with the programs online booking engine. There is no annual fee for this card, and a 0% APR for the first six months.
Cardholders also receive a free monthly FICO report, along with FirstGuard fraud and identity theft protection. Zero Liability is also part of the package, meaning that folks won’t be held accountable for fraudulent charges whether made with their card or by accessing their account.
Auto Rental Insurance is also included ,so when traveling cardholders are covered when they rent a car for theft and damage due to collision. Additional benefits include:
