Choice Hotels has brought back its Two Trips One Night Free promotion in which reward program members are eligible to earn unlimited free nights. They can earn one free night for every two stays. The promotion runs through November 13.

New and existing members can earn the free night once they register for the promotion at the Choice Hotels website. In order to get the award, members must book their reservations through the website or toll-free reservation number for two qualifying trips by mid-November.

There are a few exceptions to this rule. Corporate travelers who book through travel agents or a corporate booking system are also eligible.  And Elite Diamond and Elite Platinum members can make reservations directly through the hotels, although if they book through the hotel chain’s website they earn an additional 100 Choice Privileges points with each qualifying stay.

After two stays in any one of the chain’s 5,500 hotels, members automatically receive enough points for one free night which is valued at 8,000 points. Choice brands include Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Clarion and Cambria Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, as well as Ascend Hotel Collection member hotels.

Travelers can also earn rewards at MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay Hotel, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brand hotels, but the terms are different. To earn points for a free night at these hotels travelers must stay at least two consecutive nights per trip.

Free nights can be redeemed at any one of the 1,500 Choice Hotels in North America. There are no limits on how many free nights can be earned.  Members also receive free breakfast, free Wi-Fi and free parking at many of the participating Choice Hotels. Membership in the rewards program is free.

Choice Privileges is the rewards program for Choice Hotels. It currently has 18 million members worldwide in over 150 countries. Points earned can be redeemed for free nights or merchandise, gifts and airfare.
