Visa takes over the Olympics

Visa is the exclusive payment services provider for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. And as such has not only rolled out an Olympic lounge in Rio and other cities in the U.S. for Visa Chase United cardholders, they have also outfitted the forty-five members of Team Visa with Visa Rings. With these rings they can make payments throughout the Olympic Village by tapping the rings at the NFC-enabled payment terminals Visa has set up throughout the facility. They can use them to pick up souvenirs, have dinner or buy anything else they want or need while at the games.
