Actually, you can apply for a secured credit card, but in your state it may be prohibited to give cards to people younger than 18. Call the bank to make sure you are old enough for a card :-) (more)

Unfortunately, you can hardly find a card with no foreign transaction fee, but there are cards with fees lower than others. An alternative is an international credit card. (more)

You should get your own card, as in your case you do not accumulate your credit score points, but your parents do. (more)
