Most co-branded credit cards have high APRs, that’s almost a rule. If you are planning to close the card and want another card with a lower APR, you may try a general credit card. These cards usually have lower interest rates. They can even have a 0% intro APR period during which you can make a big purchase and pay it off with no interest whatsoever. For example, with the Discover it® Miles credit card, you have a 0% intro APR on purchases for 14 months (after introductory period is over, ongoing APR will apply). Besides, you earn 1.5 miles for every purchase and all earned miles will be matched at the end of the first year of card usage.
