I spend a lot of money on prescriptions every month, what credit card would you recommend for me to get the most back from the money I spend on prescriptions. I fill most of my prescriptions at Walgreens?

First of all one thing that I think is of utmost importance for you to know is that if you are a member of Balance Rewards and you use your reward card when picking up your prescription it will automatically give you 100 points for each one filled. In addition to a Balance Rewards card (which can be used at both Walgreens or Duane Reade), you can use any reward credit card, to earn some additional type of reward for your purchase. Discover is straightforward with its rewards and offers up to 5% back in rewards no matter what you purchase. Look for a reward card that has at least a 1.5% reward rate, unlimited potential for earning with points or miles that don’t expire and no annual fee.

As a rule, a secured credit card is recommended in such case. Secured cards are designed for people who want to build or rebuild their credit. Note that there is a down payment for a secured card. You will be asked to make a security deposit before you will be issued your card. Please read the cards terms and conditions to find out more about security deposit, fees and terms.
