Credit History

Your credit history is a record of past borrowing behavior. Your credit report is a document that reflects your credit history and lists your personal information including current and past lines of credit, mortgages, auto loans or other debts. Your payment history, employment history, any bankruptcies or loan defaults will appear on your credit report and be used to determine your overall credit score. Information about your credit history is collected by the three major consumer credit bureaus – Experian, TransUnion, and Equifax, and each bureau issues its own credit report for each consumer.
