IKEA USA used to offer a credit card to its U.S. consumers. The last IKEA retail credit card was issued by GE Money Bank. The card had no rewards program and was meant to be used at IKEA locations only as it was not affiliated with any payment network like Visa or Mastercard.

Then, GE Capital Retail Bank split from GE and changed its name to Synchrony Bank, all existing IKEA credit card accounts were transferred to Synchrony Bank. IKEA credit cards have been issued and serviced by Synchrony Bank since the split. This bank is still servicing existing IKEA credit card accounts but new applicants are no longer accepted. IKEA credit cards are currently discontinued. Existing customers can manage their IKEA credit accounts though. They can access their IKEA credit accounts online to make payments and review statements. Those who have general inquiries can write Synchrony Bank at PO Box 965002, Orlando, FL 32896-5002. Those who want to submit a billing dispute should write to the address designated for billing disputes on the back of the account statement. To request a copy of the IKEA credit card agreement, call 1-866-577-8417.

If you want to finance your IKEA purchase, you may consider these credit card offers, including ones with no interest and rewards.
