IHG has brought back its Big Win promotion, which offers its loyalty club members tailor-made bonuses based on their traveling patterns. The bonus points are awarded for stays from January 1 to April 30, but registration is open now.

When they log into their frequent stay account, IHG Reward Club members will receive custom offers where they can earn bonus points for a specific kind of stay like a weekend or two weekdays.

Offers include a variety of bonus reward opportunities, with titles like:

  • One night win

  • Stay on the weekend to win

  • Win with IHG

  • The Big Win

Members win the miles or points when they stay at a hotel. They can take advantage of one or all of the offers presented. The amount of points they earn for each offer varies based upon membership status and other factors.

Hotel brands taking part include InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn Hotels, Holiday Inn Resort, Holiday Inn Club Vacations, Holiday Inn Express, Crowne Plaza & Resorts, Hotel Indigo, Staybridge Suites and Candlewood Suites.

If you’re not a member of the IHG reward program you can sign up on the web site, at one of the participating hotels or by phone. To get started earning miles or points from this promotion, members must register on the Big Win web page.

While most rooms booked at business and leisure rates are eligible for this promotion, reduced room rates or stays completed prior to the beginning of the promotion are not.

The website comes with a tracking feature, so travelers can track their progress as they go.

With the IHG Rewards Club program points do not expire, and there are no blackout dates on reward nights. While rewards can be redeemed for travel and free nights they can also be used towards merchandise and gift cards, as well as other kinds of rewards.

The IHG Rewards Club has 76 million members around the world and 4,600 hotels in about 100 countries under its rewards umbrella.
