Most of the credit card users have affinity cards. An affinity Card is just like a branded kind of credit card which has logos of its co-issued organization, company or bank. Because of the saturated credit card market, lenders are now finding other resources of product income outside the United States. The new legislation is restricting credit card companies from raising their fees and credit rates and as a result, many created products will conform to the new rule. The credit card companies thought of offering affinity cards to their customers. Affinity cards are basically focused on drug store businesses, supermarkets, health care`s and the like.

Since lenders are experiencing product development issues, several lenders have already expanded. The expansion is focused to the countries outside the United States Boarders. An affinity card doesn`t exist in the United States but in other parts of the world like Europe, they welcome and accept such card which seems to be profitable for them. But it seems that there is something that makes the customers hold back from availing of the affinity card, it`s the rate of credit limit and the high interest rates. Other establishment such as Drug stores and Supermarkets frequently generates income which makes it hard for them to produce profits after paying for its processing fees. But according to the opinion of one consumer, reward points and interest rates of their respective banks are more important than supermarket and even drug store cards.

Despite the struggle of convincing the public to patronize Affinity Cards, the lenders still continues to persuade clients. It is quite a challenge but still, they convince their credit card users and tell them that with their support, it will be of great help for the lenders. Affinity cards may have high interest and high credit rate but this type of credit card have become popular in the market. If you actually pay your monthly card balance in full, you will surely pay no interest. Card holders also like having Affinity Cards because it gives them special perks such as discounts, receiving special offers from their favorite boutiques, shoe stores and even coffee shops. It also gives the Card holder an opportunity to support their favorite non-profit organizations and even charities. Affinity card does not only give its users reward points but also, it supports the local partners and other establishments. Cardholders may get special promos and offers as you swipe while make purchases.
