This weekend would certainly bring about some cheer to Target cardholders as they can now get a 5% discount on almost every purchase made at any one of the Target stores or at This would mean greater value for Target card holders (Target Debit card, Target Credit Card, Target visa Credit Card, are also known as the Target REDcard products). This would replace the already existing rewards program, which ends on October 16.

This new program is very simple and would replace the previous rewards programs which offered a 10% initial discount coupon to new cardholders and a 10% discount on future shopping to current card holders. Moreover, this future shopping discount is earned only when customers spend $1000.00 or more, then they would capitalize on the 10% discount. However, with this new program everything, from fresh food to electronic, entertainment, latest fashion products, household cleaners, as well as home decor & holiday gifts would be covered, giving customers more value for their dollar. Also, card holders do not have to wait to earn their discounts, it is done automatically on every purchases. In addition customers would get an additional 5% off future shopping, if 5 prescriptions are filled at Target pharmacy using any one of their Target REDcards. This Pharmacy Rewards 5% certificate can be used with the REDcard 5% discount, once the 5 prescriptions requirement is met.
