Also, points are worth more when using their points for airfare. For instance, the 60,000 bonus points are worth $600 when booking airfare according to Citi, and there is no blackout dates deal with. When using the 60,000 bonus points toward other redemption options they are worth $600.

The last time the sign-up bonus for this card was this high was eight months ago.

Earn Triple and double points

With the Citi Premier® Card, people can earn 3 points when traveling - that includes airfare and hotels. They also earn 3 points when pulling up to the gas station because it counts toward the travel category.

Want to earn more triple points? Cardholders earn 3 points when eating out at restaurants or shop at supermarkets. So you can go out for a dinner or try something new at home while earning the same 3x points.

All other spending earns them 1 point per dollar.
