Visa is serious about the Olympics, besides outfitting the Olympic Village with cutting edge payment systems and Team Visa athletes with payment enabled rings, Visa Chase United cardholders can celebrate with Olympic athletes in five Visa VIP Lounges, offering everything from taking part in Olympic Games-themed giveaways to sampling Brazilian food and beverages.

Cardholders heading to the Rio 2016 Olympic Games will be able to check out the lounge in Rio from August 11 through August 14. But four additional lounges will be set up in U.S cities--Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and New York – where for one night Visa Chase cardholders will be able to get a taste of Rio and what the Olympic Visa VIP Lounge is like, which includes hanging out with superstar Olympians who will be telling their sports stories.

Visa Chase United cardholders do not have to make a reservation to get into the Rio de Janeiro Visa VIP Lounge. All they have to do is to show their card to enter. They can bring up to three guests along with them. In the lounge they can take advantage of meet and greets with Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders and Olympic gymnast Nadia Comaneci, as well as fill up on Brazilian food, beer and soda. The lounges also come along with large screen TVs, lounge seating and of course WiFi.

But that's not all. People can also take advantage of a complimentary four-day retreat taking place at the Legendary Copacabana Beach. The retreat is being hosted Summer Sanders, an Olympic Gold Medalist.

Getting your Olympics on at the U.S lounges

People looking to celebrate at the U.S. Visa VIP Lounges will have to make a reservation and it will cost them $25 per person. They will have to pay using their Visa Chase United Credit Card, with the proceeds going to the United States Olympic Committee.

The schedules and details for the U.S lounges are as follows;

• Los Angeles: Saturday, August 6 from 5-9 p.m. - Location: The Mixing Room – 900 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90015. Olympic athletes Amanda Beard (swimming), Brandi Chastain (soccer) and Bode Miller (skiing) will be appearing.

• San Francisco: Sunday, August 7 from 5-9 p.m. - Location: Stock in Trade – 2036 Lombard St., San Francisco, CA 94123. Olympic athletes Amanda Beard (swimming), Brandi Chastain (soccer) and Jonny Moseley (skiing) will be appearing.

• Chicago: Thursday, August 11 from 6-10 p.m. Location: Fremont – 15 West Illinois Street, Chicago, IL 60654. Olympic athletes Amanda Beard (swimming), Kerri Strug (gymnastics), Jonny Moseley (skiing) and Tim Morehouse (fencing) will be appearing.

• New York: Saturday, August 13 from 7-11 p.m. Location: The 40/40 Club – 6 West 25th St., New York, NY 10010. Olympic athletes Jackie Joyner-Kersee (track and field), Amanda Beard (swimming), Kerri Strug (gymnastics) and Tim Morehouse (fencing) will be appearing.
