A Lucky Fan Gets to Go to the Grammys on Barclaycard

Do you want to go to the Grammy’s next year, and hobnob with your favorite musicians? If you have a Barclaycard Arrival MasterCard, or you plan to get one, then you might want to enter the new contest Barclaycard US has just rolled out a contest in its travel community and the grand prize is a trip for two to the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. The contest runs until November 22, with the award show airing live in February 2016.

If you’re not a cardholder, you’re not out in the cold. You can still enter, but you won’t be going to the music industry show. Instead you could win a trip for two to Napa Valley or New York City.

How to enter

For a chance to win, simply share the #IHAVEARRIVED travel moment to share a memorable travel experience. Write about the experience and include a photo. There are four areas that entries will be judged on – photography, writing, creativity and originality.

The Barclaycard Arrival MasterCard

Once people are approved for the Arrival MasterCard, and spend $1,000 during the first 3 months of membership, they receive 20,000 bonus miles, which can be redeemed for a $200 credit on their statement. Plus they earn points on their overall spend. People earn double miles when booking travel, or when dinning out, and one mile per dollar spent on all other purchases.

With this card you book your own airline tickets, hotel stays, or vacations, and then use the miles you earn toward a statement credit to reimburse yourself for the trip. When you do this you also earn 5% back to use the next time you redeem your miles for a credit. There is no annual fee for this card.

If you opt to get the Arrival Plus MasterCard you get 40,000 bonus points when you charge $3,000 on your card in the first three months. The bonus miles equal a $400 credit. You also get double points on all purchases and the 5% back when you redeem points for a credit. There is an $89 annual fee for this card.
