Alliance Data and Adorama Team Up

If you frequent Adorama, a photography, video, audio and computer retailer, you might want to check out the new private label credit card being launched by Alliance Data Systems. With this new card people will be able to finance a wide range of professional photography, video and audio gear, along with consumer electronics, computers, home office equipment, and home theaters.

Customers will also access special benefits tailored to their needs whether they are a professional, hobbyist or consumer. This initiative is seen as a way to provide customers with more payment options and benefits.

“Adorama is the premier retail destination for imaging, audio, and consumer electronics, and this is a tremendous opportunity for Alliance Data to partner with a brand that is focused on building strong relationships with its customers by understanding how they like to shop,” said Melisa Miller, president of Alliance Data’s card services business.

“We look forward to collaborating closely with this industry leader to help them develop deep connections with their customers, drive long-term loyalty, grow sales, and give their valued customers more choices and more reasons to shop frequently,” she said.

Flexibility and convenience

With this new credit card, professionals and consumers will be able to access special financing options. Individuals whose purchase totals between $500 and $999.99 can choose to pay no interest as long as they pay off their card within six months.

People spending $1,000 and up, can avoid paying interest by paying off their purchase within 12 months. In both cases, if they fail to pay off their debt before the final due date they will be charged interest.

Growing Adorama

Adorama got its start as a store in New York, but over the years they have branched out to include a significant online presence. This partnership with Alliance Data is part of their initiative to continue this growth.

“The Adorama customer is a smart and savvy shopper who expects superior customer service and support, which we provide at a level unmatched in the industry,” said Lev Peker, chief marketing officer of Adorama.

“We value Alliance Data’s industry expertise, deep understanding of the competitive retail environment, and ability to customize a program that meets the unique needs of our customers. We look forward to working with Alliance Data to help us keep the Adorama brand top-of-mind among our most loyal customers, and to drive sales and long-term customer relationships with everyone who loves photography and electronics,” he added.
