Discover’s new It card offers customers a credit card that has the same cash back bonus value as its traditional cards, but fewer fees.

The card doesn’t charge customers for their first late payment and won’t apply a penalty APR for late payments either.  There is also no annual fee, no fees for foreign transactions or for going over limit.

Here are some of the other features of the new card:

  • Discover has $0 fraud liability so cardmembers are safe in case of unauthorized charges.
  • This card features Discover’s usual 5% cash back in rotating categories with 1% back on everything else.
  • The ShopDiscover online mall offers cardmembers a way to earn between 5 % and 20% cash back on purchases.
  • Pick your preferred payment due date and use the online account management tools 24 hours a day 7 days a week on Discover.com.  Get email and text reminders so you don’t miss a payment.

The APR for purchases on the It card will be between 10.99% and 20.99% depending on creditworthiness. There is a 3% fee for balance transfers and the APR for transfers is the same as for purchases. The APR for cash advances is 24.99%. Compare it to the rest of the Discover Card options to find the one that’s right for you.

All credit cards terms, fees and rates mentioned in this article/post are actual on the posting date. See the current products’ Terms & Conditions on the issuing banks' websites.
