The Credit CARD Act of 2009 has brought many changes to the credit card industry. One of these changes is teens' easy access to credit. According to the CARD Act, young adults under the age of 21 should provide the proof of sufficient independent income or have a parent or guardian's co-signature on their account before they will be granted a credit card. The Student Credit Card Education Initiative will teach students how to use their credit cards responsibly. By using this course students will learn useful guides for credit card handling and become more financially educated.
