News: TAP Air Portugal Now Has Credit Card For US Travelers - Credit-Land.com

TAP Air Portugal partnered with Cardless and American Express to debut their new credit card to U.S. travelers - the TAP Miles&Go American Express® Card. The card is issued by First Electronic Bank and serviced by Cardless.

The new TAP Miles&Go is already available for application and has a special limited time offer. If you apply for the card by November 30, you will earn 60,000 bonus miles after spending $2,500 in the first 90 days of account opening. After November 30, the bonus offer will be reduced to 40,000 bonus miles but spending requirements will remain the same.

  • 3x miles on flights and all other purchases from TAP Air Portugal
  • 2x miles on hotels, car rentals and rideshare
  • 1x miles on all other purchases
  • Up to 10,000 status miles per Annual Qualification period
  • $0 foreign transaction fee
  • $79 annual fee

Additionally, the TAP Miles&Go card comes with some useful travel benefits. When you fly TAP Air Portugal, you will enjoy preferred boarding, two passes per year to the TAP Premium Lounge at Lisbon Airport, and two extra checked bags per year.

Also, since TAP Air Portugal is a member of the Star Alliance, miles earned with the airline can be redeemed to an array of destinations worldwide thanks to the members of the alliance.

If you apply for the TAP Miles&Go American Express® Card and get approved, the card will immediately appear in your Apple Pay or Google Wallet. This means you can start using the card to make purchases right after approval.
