I am interested in applying for the Horizon Gold card. I see there is a one-time activation fee. If I am denied, will I have to pay the activation fee?

The issuer will charge the activation fee when you submit the application. If you are not approved, you can contact them and ask for a refund. But you should contact the issuer within 30 days to be eligible. You can contact the Horizon’s customer services department at 1-800-251-6144.
