US residents are offered to Avianca credit cards: Avianca Vida Visa Card and Avianca Vuela Visa Card. The first, the Vida, won’t allow you to have an extra checked bag free. However, if you are an Avianca Elit Program member with Gold or Diamond status, you can have one extra checked baggage free. The second card, the Vuela, allows you to have a free additional piece of baggage. Note that a free checked bag is allowed for Avianca flights and for flights between the United States and Central America.
