I am very interested in applying for the Amtrak credit card. I frequently travel with Amtrak and I think I would benefit from the rewards. The current problem is that my credit score is not as good as it used to be. Do you know what the minimum credit requirements are for the Amtrak credit card? Also, where can I apply for it?

Bank of America is probably looking for someone with a score over 720, which would put the applicant in the good/excellent range. Keep in mind that there are other factors that banks take into consideration when determining whether or not you are worthy of approval, but your credit score is a very important factor in the approval process. If you don’t think you will qualify, check your credit score and find a suitable card for your current credit profile. If you want to try applying for it anyway, you can visit Bank of America’s website or go through Amtrak and follow the steps for approval.
