Unfortunately, you won't be able to transfer the balance of one Bank of America credit card to another Bank of America credit card as balance transfers between two cards of one issuer are not allowed. You will need to apply for a credit card from a different issuer. For example, if you are planning to keep your new balance transfer credit card, you may like the Citi Double Cash® Card. It is a cash back card that will allow you to earn 2% back on all purchases (1% cash back when you buy, plus an additional 1% as you pay for those purchases). When you transfer your balance to the card, you will have the 0% intro APR on balance transfers for 18 months. After that the go-to APR will be 19.24% - 29.24% (Variable), based on your creditworthiness. The balance transfer fee: Intro fee 3% of each transfer ($5 min) completed within the first 4 months of account opening. After that, 5% of each transfer ($5 min). Thus, if you transfer your $6,000 balance right after approval, the balance transfer fee will be $180.
