Last time I was travelling with Lufthansa I saw that they have a credit card. Lufthansa is my first choice airline when I travel to Europe but I do not travel much, maybe once or twice a year. However, I do travel a lot across the US. Do you think it is wise applying for Lufthansa card?

Since you do not travel a lot with Lufthansa, you may not be able to accumulate enough miles to redeem for a reward ticket. We would recommend you to make some calculations to see how many miles you will be able to earn annually without a sign-up bonus. Then you may want to take a travel rewards card to compare potential earning on this card with the earnings on the Lufthansa card. When you choose a travel rewards credit card, remember that this card will allow you to earn miles on all your purchases and redeem them with any airline. Such card can easily be your primary card while the Lufthansa card is best only when you use it for airline ticket purchases. Compare the cards, weigh all pros and cons, and you will see which card to apply.
