I am currently interested in applying for the BB&T secured credit card, but the only problem is that my credit score is not very good. It used to be a lot higher, but I haven’t attempted to rebuild it since it declined. Do you happen to have any idea about what kind of credit score you need to be approved for a BB&T card?

Unfortunately, I have no way of finding out what score you are required to have to be eligible for one of the cards offered by BB&T. Every credit issuer is different when it comes to determining whether you are worthy of approval. You are not required to have excellent credit to be approved for a card, but there are also many credit issuers who will not want to associate with anyone who has poor credit. If your credit is poor, I would recommend considering a card that works toward building credit.
