Is it a bad choice to apply for Lane Bryant credit card? I can’t say I shop with them often but my friend do and she got approved for this card with her bad credit. My credit score is 570 and I want to improve it. Will I be able to do it with this card?

We would not recommend you to apply for a store credit card to rebuild your credit. While it is rather easy to get approved for a store credit card, such cards come with high interest rates and hefty late payment fees. The Lane Bryant credit card comes with a high 26.99% interest rate, so carrying a balance will cost you. Today it is possible to find a credit card with lower APR. Regular credit cards from major banks will give you more flexibility. You will be able to use them everywhere and not at a particular retailer. You also can earn rewards, plus most banks will give you access to your free credit score. You will be able to monitor your credit score changes: you will see what makes it go up or down.
