I am looking to establish my credit history and I was wondering if the Roamans credit card would be a good card to start with. Do you think so as well, or do you have any other recommendations?

When it comes to finding a credit card to begin establishing your credit history with, there are a few things you're going to want to ensure. First of all, you're want to make sure that the card you are planning to get is not going to be a card that will cause you to rack up an unpayable balance. Secondly, you want to make sure that the card you are applying for reports to major credit bureaus. This is what allows you to actually build your credit profile. The Roamans credit card is affiliated with Comenity Bank, therefore it does report to some of the credit bureaus. However, the Roamans credit card is not our overall recommendation. We would consider finding a more general credit card that can be used at more places than just one store. A nice additional feature to have would be a low APR and a low spending limit so you’re not tempted to get into debt.
