I am new to the credit world, and I am trying to establish my credit history, do you think the Tractor Supply credit card is a good place to start?

When establishing your credit history, you want to make sure you have a credit card option that is right for you. You definitely want to make sure that whoever the credit issuer is, it reports all credit activity to the three major credit bureaus. The Tractor Supply card itself may be an okay option considering it is issued by Citibank; however, it would not be my recommendation. The Tractor Supply card is more for someone who wants to finance a large purchase from that store. If you were to miss a finance payment and end up stuck with several months’ worth of interest payments, it could reflect negatively on your credit history. What I recommend for you to start with instead is a bank-issued credit card that comes with a 0% introductory APR offer to help you finance any big ticket items.
