It would be a good option for you if it weren’t expired. The Hess credit card is no longer available to new applicants. However, there are many other credit card offers you may like and that are good for those who are just starting their credit history. Since you are going to build your credit history, we would recommend you to look for a credit card that reports to major credit bureaus monthly. Also, today many credit cards come with a credit score tracker. Pick a card with such tracker, and you will be able to monitor your credit score for free.
