Generally, rewards credit cards require applicants to have a good credit score. A credit score between 660 and 719 (according to the FICO score range) should be enough to qualify for a rewards credit card. The Bass Pro Shops Outdoor Rewards credit card is issued in two versions: World MasterCard® and Platinum Plus® MasterCard®. You may qualify for the Platinum Plus MasterCard with your current score, but your rewards will be only 3% per dollar spent at Bass Pro Shops. As for the World MasterCard version, it gives 5% per dollar spend at Bass Pro Shops and your credit score should be above 700 to qualify. All other purchases will earn only 1% per dollar spent. So, taking into account your current credit score, we would not recommend you to apply right away but improve your credit score first. Or you can consider a general rewards credit card that will give you more than 1% back on all purchases.
