Yes, the issuer of this card will report your credit activity to the major credit bureaus, so you will be able to build your credit. However, the Value City Furniture card is not the best credit card for those who want to build their credit. If you do not have a habit to pay all due payments on time, you may end up having big debt and bad credit. Since you are building your credit we would recommend you a credit card that offers a free credit score tracker. Most major banks offer credit cards with such tracker now. You will be able to see your credit score changes and notice which financial decisions make it go up or down.
