I applied for a credit card through Footlocker.com, but I don’t think it’s giving me the best interest rate. I feel I could get a better APR elsewhere. What other types of cards do you recommend I look at?

Shopping around for the best credit card is a very smart move, so you’re on the right track already. A low APR, or annual percentage rate, is just one thing to look for in the quest for the ideal card. Other things to consider include: do you want to transfer a high APR balance from another card? If so, then a balance transfer card with a 0% promotional offer is a great option. Do you travel frequently? Try a travel rewards card with an annual fee that pays off with miles, hotel points, no foreign transaction fee, and 24/7 concierge service. If you are just planning on shopping for apparel and other everyday options, then you can’t go wrong with a cash back card with 5% back in rotating categories. There are so many options; you’re sure to find one that works for you.
