Brex, a Credit Card startup, has added a new credit card to its lineup, one that is designed especially for e-commerce businesses. With this new credit card, customer's get access to a variety of benefits including a sixty-day rolling payment window during which they do not have to pay interest. For cardholders, this means that regardless of when they make a purchase during the month they have 60 days to pay it off.

This e-commerce credit card was designed to help users grow their brand, and forgo the issues that typically come up when using traditional banks and issuers. "Legacy card companies view businesses as a monolith and create products that are expected to serve all of them," said Henrique Dubugras, Co-Founder and CEO of Brex.

"Brex sees the world differently. Startups are not like other businesses, and neither are e-commerce companies. Now the latter, too, can benefit from Brex," he added.

The card details

When cardholders get the new Brex card they can start using their line of credit, and as noted earlier it comes along with sixty-day interest-free payment terms. It also provides a layer of convenience because the card is part of the MasterCard network.

When traveling abroad foreign transaction fees can get expensive but with this card, there are no foreign transaction fees to deal with while on the road.

The new Brex e-commerce card also offers cardholders a way to manage their expenses because it can be used to buy everything from software and inventory to ads and social media buys. When it comes time to keep track of their expenses they are provided with transparent statements.

What about providing employees with credit cards? Whenever they are ready businesses can easily give their employees virtual cards to get things off to a smooth start.

No rewards

Unlike the original Brex corporate card businesses do not earn rewards with this card.
