Visa has been an NFL sponsor for almost twenty years, and is the exclusive payment services sponsor of ten NFL teams, including the Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, San Diego Chargers and the Minnesota Vikings. Customers purchasing tickets, concessions, or team merchandise from any of these ten Visa-sponsored teams are often eligible for promotions and special discounts when using their Visa cards, the preferred payment method.
Visa NFL Fan Offers and Sweepstakes
The Visa NFL Fan Offers program, new this year, gives Visa cardholders a shot at winning exclusive NFL experiences and merchant offers. The program is featured in Visa’s latest marketing campaign, running across social media as well as television and print ads this fall. “Make it Epic” is the theme of the campaign, and the first commercial, which debuted this week, stars Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis being taken off guard by a young girl who asks him what his favorite color is and when his bedtime is during post-game interviews. Narrator Morgan Freeman then tells viewers they can win the chance to interview an NFL player with the Visa NFL Fan Offers Sweepstakes.
Besides interviewing a player, fans will compete for the chance to sit in on a game day speech by San Francisco 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh, watch an NFL game with legendary coach John Madden in his private viewing studio, and take trips to the Super Bowl and ProBowl.

By providing a tangible benefit, we are able to strengthen our relationship with cardholders as well our merchant and issuer partners,” says Alex Craddock, the head of North American marketing at Visa, in a press release.
