If the answer to both questions is yes, you may well be able to do just that very soon, due to the roll out of a new American Express mobile feature letting Platinum and Centurion Cardholders make reservations at top restaurants.

The new feature is set to roll out in the U.K in a few weeks, and includes some partner restaurants with Michelin stars. Cardholder will find foodie favorites such as Nobu and Hakkasan included in the mix.

When is it coming to the U.S and the rest of the world? The new feature will be launched in the U.S and other countries during 2019.

The Platinum card

With the American Express Platinum card people earn five points per dollar when booking flights, as long as they book directly with the airline or via American Express Travel. Cardholders also earn 5 points per dollar when prepaying for hotels stays and booking them with amextravel.com. All other purchases net them one point per dollar.

This card also comes with a lucrative bonus – new cardholders earn 60,000 reward points as long as they spend $5000 during the first 90 days they have the card.

With this card people also get $15 a month to pay for Uber rides. When traveling cardholders also get access to a variety of lounges including:

  • The Centurion Lounge Network
  • The International American Express lounges
  • Delta Sky Club
  • Priority Pass Select lounges
  • Airspace Lounges
  • Escape Lounges
  • Plaza Premium

There is also a $200 Airline Fee Credit with this card to cover the cost of incidental fees, like checking your bags.

The top secret Centurion credit card

What about the Centurion credit card? This card is also known as the American Express Black card, because it’s made out of anodized titanium. How do you get this card? It is by invite only, and the benefits are kept under wraps most of the time but it does come with a whole host of lifestyle, luxury and travel benefits.
