News: Tee Time for Chase Sapphire Preferred and the PGA - Credit-Land.com

PGA and Chase Sapphire Preferred have inked a new multi-year deal making them the official credit card of the PGA of America, as well as the PGA Championships in 2015 and 2016. For cardholders this new partnership means they can get access to exclusive travel and culinary packages through the Ultimate Rewards program.

They are kicking off the new relationship with deals that give people access to special events at the upcoming 2015 PGA Championship happening at the Whistling Straits Golf Course in Kohler, Wisconsin, from August 10 to 16. The packages include culinary packages, hotel stays, special access to the Chase Sapphire Cardmember Club and events.

“Our cardmembers have many passion points, one of which is golf, so we are excited that our partnership with the PGA of America will allow us to reward customers with exclusive experiences at some of professional golf’s most prestigious Championships,” said Chase Sapphire Preferred General Manager Lisa Walker.

The packages

At the events cardholders can check out the Chase Sapphire Cardmember Club where they can refuel on free beverages and food. They can also attend the PGA/Bon Appétit Champions of the Course event, where for $100 or 10,000 points they get one VIP ticket, early access to a meet and greet with chefs, and can check out food tastings and demos.

People can purchase the packages outright or pay for them using their Ultimate Rewards points.
