What is new with Citibank®? People with the Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer can now turn their rewards into ThankYou Points. This new initiative kicked in on September 22, 2019, which means that cardholders who are interested can get started transferring their rewards into ThankYou points right now.
They can also use this opportunity to merge points from other Citi credit cards, like the Citi Rewards+℠ Card, Citi Premier Card, and Citi Prestige Card, once they do the transfer.
How it works
When converting Citi Double Cash Credit Card rewards into ThankYou Points cardholders will get 100 points for every dollar they transfer. Is there a limit to how many points they can get? The answer is no, there is no limit to how much cashback people can convert into points. But the least amount that they can convert is $1.
Also, it is important to note that once the transfer is complete points cannot be transferred back into cash.
Earning rewards and more with the Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer
The Citi® Double Cash Card – 18 month BT offer is aptly named because cardholders earn double points across the boards. How does this work? Very simply they earn 1% back when then pay for merchandise or a service, and then they earn another 1% when they pay their balance. In order to earn the cashback all they need to do is pay their minimum every month.
Are there any limits to how much cashback people can earn with this card? The answer is no, there is no cap on how much cashback people can earn. They also do not need to keep track of categories that earn enhanced rewards because they earn on everything.
New cardholders can also take advantage of a special 0% Intro APR for balance transfers. This special rate is in play for the first 18 months they have their card, but must be completed within the first four months. From that point on their APR will fall in the 15.74% – 25.74% range based upon the cardholder’s credit score and report. That said balance transfers are not eligible for earning cashback.
There is no annual fee with this card. People who want more information about this card can visit the website.
