I applied for Bob’s Furniture credit card to finance my sofa. They gave me only 6 months and they are about to end. I still have about $300 balance and do not want to pay the interest which is crazy. Can I transfer the balance to a 0% APR credit card?

You can transfer that balance to a credit card with a 0% intro APR on balance transfers. It would be the best option in your situation and will bring you the best savings. We can recommend you a set of credit cards. For example, it can be the Discover it® Balance Transfer card. The card has 18 months of 0% intro APR on balance transfers and 6 months of 0% intro on purchases (when the introductory interest rate is over, the ongoing APR of 14.24% – 25.24% Variable will apply). The balance transfer fee is standard – 3% intro balance transfer fee, up to 5% fee on future balance transfers (see terms)* of amount transferred. There is no annual fee for the card. When you pay off, you can keep using this card for purchases and earn cash back. All your purchases will earn 1% cash back and purchases made within rotating categories will earn 5% cash back (up to the quarterly maximum, provided you’ve enrolled).

Remember that you will need to continue making minimum payments on your Bob’s Furniture credit card until you see the balance posted on to your new credit card. Otherwise you may be charged fees and lose your zero interest.
