A new luxury credit card by UBS designed for high and ultra-high net worth travelers has hit the market offering triple points on commercial airline tickets, double points on gas and groceries, and one point on everything else. Once approved for the UBS Visa Infinite credit card people can earn 50,000 bonus points after a $3,000 spend over the first three months they have the card.

Rolling out this card is seen as a way for USB to give their clients more, with the included benefits suggested to value $4,000 and up per year. "Our clients place an immense value on high-end and high-value services, which are integral to the UBS wealth management experience," said John Mathews, Head of Private Wealth Management and Ultra High Net Worth, UBS Wealth Management Americas.

"By putting the UBS Visa Infinite credit card in our clients' hands, we can have a more meaningful impact on our clients' everyday lives and experiences by serving more than their traditional wealth management needs," he added.

UBS Visa Infinite credit card is replacing the UBS Preferred Visa Signature credit card.

The rewards in the details

The UBS Visa Infinite credit card has a sleek metal design and also comes with a wide range of premium rewards and travel benefits. When people are approved for the UBS Visa Infinite credit card they can take advantage of a travel-focused concierge service, and special amenities, including a $500 Any Airport Club statement credit and limitless free access to over 1,000 Priority Pass Select lounges.

They also get a $100 Global Entry application fee statement credit, a $250 airline fee credit, and 12 free Gogo in-flight Wi-Fi sessions.

When on the road they get primary insurance coverage when booking a rental car, as well as special perks and discounts when renting cars at Silvercar, National Car Rental and Avis.

Other perks are also come with this card including:

  • No foreign purchase transaction fees when traveling abroad
  • Trip cancellation/trip interruption insurance
  • Baggage delay coverage and trip delay reimbursement
  • Lost luggage reimbursement

When booking flights with rewards points there are no blackout dates to wrangle with or booking fees to pay.

Along with the other rewards, cardholders also get access to concierge-style financial advice to meet long- and short-term goals.

There is a $495 annual card fee with this card.
